University of Glamorgan — Undergraduate Prospectus 2012

Based in Pontypridd, The University of Glamorgan has a thriving postgraduate community of over 3,000 students across a wide range of disciplines and levels, form part-time professional qualifications to full-time research degrees.

The client had a set of particular objectives for this publication: Improve the awareness of Glamorgan as a quality institution with a good reputation, encourage people to book an open day and increase applications to all courses, in particular beyond a 45-mile radius from the campus.

The prospectus is the major selling tool aimed at potential students. In addition to featuring courses, it also needed to address other important factors – employability, teaching quality, location, accommodation and social life.
Our solution clearly conveyed the objectives, featuring a circular device highlighting facts about the university. Strong student quotes were positioned strategically around the document, underpinning the strengths of the university.

Results
The prospectus was well received by students and staff alike, with very positive comments. The prospectus was instrumental in delivering a marked upturn in student recruitment and applications.
